The Colorado Springs City Auditorium once again played host to No Mercy Extreme Fightings “Annihilation” series as fight fans from Northern Colorado to Pueblo were treated to a very good night of fights with solid matchups and very competitive bouts throughout the evening.

On a night when there were four fighters vying for the top spot amongst 145 pounders in the final round of the NME tournament it was Josh Mead that reigned supreme after Manuel Gallardo was injured in his bout with Shawn Ramsey and was unable to fight Mead for supremacy in the main event.

The first fight in the four-man tourney featured a battle between James Mead and Shawn Ramsey as both worked to get the early finish in hopes of being fresh for the finally.  It was Ramsey that secured a tight RNC at the 2:06 mark of the first round.

In the second tourney bout, Manuel Gallardo and Josh Huber showed a great display of ground work as both combatants pressed the action and worked for submissions while the other looked for escapes. There were many reversals in this very exciting 3 round battle.

In the end it was Gallardo that got the nod via split decision but unfortunately was unable to continue in the tourney due to aforementioned injury he suffered.

In the main event of the evening (due to the Gallardo injury) Mike Suski showed his heart and grit as he went to battle with a very tough and durable Adam Soto.  It was Soto whom pressed the action with very nice combinations that on a few occasions rocked his foe while Suski looked to counter and work for the takedown.
After a few successful takedowns by Suski and numerous reversals, it was Suski who locked in the fight ending triangle choke at the 1:06 mark of the 3rd round to retain his 154lb title.

In other action, Tambora Gurl defeated Zac Valdez via straight arm lock at the 2:29 mark of round two.

In an all out war, Nick Dibiase defeated Isaias Gomez via unanimous decision.  This was one of the best fights I have seen this year as both fighters were very technical in their ground game and without a doubt took home fight of the night honors.

Curt Barr defeated Mateo Rocha via tapout due to strikes at the 2:14 mark of the first round.

Levi Weikel-Magden defeated Ben Asheur via TKO in round 2 at the 1:05 mark.

Jermiah Augustenborg defeated Chad Holseberg by way of 1st round TKO at the 1:37 mark.

Larry Williams put on a dominate performance as he overwhelmed a very game Mike Wright with strikes as Wright just could not get away from the onslaught.  Williams won via TKO at the 1:23 mark of round 1.

In the opening bout of the night, we were treated to a kickboxing bout between Jaime Schoen and Richard McKeney.  After 3 grueling rounds of action the judges sided with Schoen via split decision victory.
